The Autumn 2019 edition of The Guide youth brochure has just been published, promoting a whole host of positive activities for young people to do within the Borough of Broxbourne.  

Highlights include new youth diversionary projects at Grundy Park, Waltham Cross, Pound Close and Cheshunt Park, as well as new monthly Open Mic nights for young people in Cheshunt on Friday nights. There are also new art workshops in Wormley during the October half-term.

These are in addition to the Council’s programme of free weekly youth activities which include Friday Night Football on the Astroturf at the Laura Trott Leisure Centre from 6-8pm, Youth Sport Night at the John Warner Sports Centre every Friday from 8-9pm, detached youth work in Flamstead End (Thursday) and Hoddesdon (Friday), and existing multi-sport sessions at Grundy Park, Wormley and Holdbrook. Other projects covered include the Junior Parkrun at Cheshunt Park and the Broxbourne Youth Council

The Guide also promotes youth activities provided by other agencies including YC Hertfordshire (previouslyYouth Connexions), Aldwyck Housing Association and the Herts Young Mariners Base.
