Herts & Middlesex Wildlife Trust and The Grove have been working together since 2016 to enhance the luxury hotel and spa's grounds for wildlife and people.

As Hertfordshire's leading local conservation charity, the Trust provides professional expertise to help businesses manage their land for wildlife, helping to meet their corporate social responsibility, environmental and sustainability goals.

The Trust has created a bespoke management plan for The Grove which has transformed its land into an oasis for wildlife. otters, bats and owls now roam the extensive grounds while the golf course remainds one of the best courses of the country. A specially created trail brings guests closer to wildlife and helps them relax in a beautiful natural environment.

The Grove provides a stunning venue for Trust events such as dawn chorus walks, gin tasting sessions or afternoon tea walks which are very popular, and supports the Trust as a Gold Business Member.

"The 300 acre estate at The Grove is lucky enough to include a fantastic array of beautiful and rare wildlife," says Michael Helling, General Manager at The Grove.

"We believe that it is incredibly important to recognise the significance of these areas and support Herts and MIddlesex Wildlife Trust to maintain natural habitats, not just at The Grove but throughout Hertfordshire."

In celebration of the partnership, teh trust is launching a Corporate Golf Day at The Grove on 21 October 2019 to encourage some friendly competition. Competitors will be playing on one of the UK's finest golf courses in a beautiful natural setting and enjoy great food, hospitality and networking opportunities.
