This course will look at:
How implementing mental health promotion and wellbeing strategies will save your organisation money.
What makes mentally healthy workplaces?
Support for line managers to address mental ill health and what ‘reasonable adjustments’ are.
Managing stress and work life balance for all.

Who should attend this course?
This course is aimed at line managers from the statutory, voluntary or private sector. Employees are also welcome to attend.

Aims of the course:
• To understand that we all have mental health needs, whether or not we have a diagnosis of mental illness.
• To understand that tackling stress in the workplace early on results in better outcomes for individuals and the employer.
• To educate managers on wellbeing initiatives, positive practices and peer support.
• To enable managers to develop a work culture of respect, communication and where all staff feel valued and supported.

The course will be facilitated by Sam Croft an Employment Advisor specialising in reasonable adjustments and Andrew Bennett who has developed employment support services for people with disabilities.
