Michael McGrath, CEO, Muscle Help Foundation is building a Trustee recruitment strategy for the Foundation, supported by the charity's external governance adviser and their existing Trustee Board members. Michael is keen to identify several potential channels to reach as wide an audience as possible, over and above the traditional routes such as LinkedIn, personal connections etc. Specifically, they are looking for talented individuals that can bring a senior business perspective but also a depth of experience in the following areas:

 

  1. DIGITAL MARKETING – provide thought leadership on the role of digital and help build and implement the charity’s digital vision. Translate the risks and opportunities of digital for other Trustees, to enable the board to engage in an informed way. Provide strategic oversight, champion the use of digital data, draw on your networks to support the cause.

 

  1. BUSINESS / PARTNERSHIPS / CSR   advise on business partnership activity / CSR opportunities, bring knowledge around philanthropy, sponsorship, brand equity.

 

  1. FUNDRAISING – good independent judgement, bringing knowledge and expertise to help inform the charity’s fundraising strategy, online activation and major donor thinking.
