JPA Furniture, Hertfordshire’s award winning contract furniture supplier are delighted to announce sponsorship of several business and sustainability events in St Albans and Hertfordshire later this year.
Firstly, having worked closely with Sona Shah at the Herts Business Independent, JPA Furniture are delighted to have agreed sponsorship of the Herts Business Expo at the St Albans Arena on July 4th where JPA Furniture also hope to show some of the latest trends for active working, acoustics and hot desking. “This is a new departure for JPA Furniture” says Fiona Edwards, Commercial and Sustainability Director and we have lots of exciting products and ideas that we would like to show.
For the second year running JPA Furniture are sponsoring the Circular Economy Conference, organised by the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and this will be held at BRE Garston, on June 16th. This is ideal for JPA Furniture as they can showcase both furniture remanufacture projects and donated second life furniture projects on site – both perfectly reflecting back circular economy principles.
Finally, having participated in Sustainable St Albans Week in 2015, now a double winner at the ST Albans Mayor’s Pride Awards, JPA Furniture are looking forwards to participating as Gold Sponsors as well in 2016. Catherine Ross, Chair of Sustainable St Albans week says “we are delighted to welcome JPA Furniture on board for the second year running, this time as a sponsor. Their '100 chair challenge' was a really practical way to combine helping local community groups with helping the environment, by diverting usable furniture from landfill and finding the chairs new homes. Fiona from JPA also gave a really inspiring talk at our event on 'sustainable economies'. What really struck me from her talk is that they have worked hard to become a zero-landfill business, by designing this into all stages in their manufacturing. As a local, family-owned firm, they are always thinking of ways to live their values through their work, and offer great customer service."
