Chamber Chief Executive, Tim Hutchings, said,” Growing companies have struggled to access the funds they need to expand and create new jobs I hope that this initiative will go some way toward relieving that problem”.
The Chamber is hosting a breakfast briefing so that qualifying companies can hear how they might benefit from the new £2.5 billion Business Growth Fund set up to help UK businesses. The BGF is keen to meet businesses in the Hertfordshire area that would benefit from the unique long-term growth funding and partnership opportunities that we offer.
The BGF is looking to invest around £2 million to £10 million in dynamic, growing UK-based companies with sales of over £8 million a year. The Business Growth Fund is offering long-term expert partnership to help business growth, and to provide a valuable network of contacts across the UK and globally.
The fund will be introduced to Hertfordshire businesses at an event at Sopwell House Hotel, St Albans on 12th July which is being organised by the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce and chaired by the Business Growth Fund CEO, Stephen Welton. In addition to networking over breakfast, companies will be able to meet professional BGF investment managers in special one to one surgeries, to discuss individual growth plans in confidence.
