YMCA Central Herts is inviting local companies to test their teamwork, ingenuity and entrepreneurship by taking part in the Accumulator Challenge to raise vital funds towards their work in the local community.
Each company that takes part will be given a crisp £50 note and three months to find interesting and innovative ways of generating as much profit as possible.
Michelle Gray, Head of Fundraising & Marketing said, “This is a fantastic and fun way for local business to show their support. Companies could run a staff raffle or auction in the build up to Christmas, arrange fundraising events at work, invest it on the stock market, set sporting challenges or organise social activities to raise funds. The list is endless and anything is allowed as long as it’s legal!”.
The Challenge will kick off with a reception in early December and run until the end of February with the winners being announced at a presentation ceremony.
To encourage local business to demonstrate their competitive and community spirit the Welwyn Hatfield Times is supporting the initiative with regular updates being printed on the progress of the companies involved.
