To mark Father’s Day, Rye House Kart Raceway, Hoddesdon generously hosted an evening of go karting for 13 of the young people supported by the charity Teens Unite and their fathers.

Debbie Pezzani, CEO and Founder said: “We know that cancer doesn’t just effect the person diagnosed, but those closest to them. Overcoming the illness and dealing with the long-lasting impact takes its toll on the whole family, so we wanted to organise an event that meant that we could treat some of the inspirational Dad’s we have the pleasure of meeting.

It was a fantastic bonding sessions for some of the families we support. The staff at Rye House track were incredible and put on such an enjoyable evening- thank you.”

There was a special surprise visit on the evening from celebrity guest Ant Anstead, best known for presenting the hit Channel 4 programme ‘For the Love of Cars’. Having attended Teens Unite’s recent fashion show, Ant Anstead has become a firm supporter of the charity’s work.
