Could you run 10km for Teens Unite? Spaces for one of the most anticipated running events of the year; the British 10k London Run are now open.
Taking place on Sunday 9th July 2017, the British 10k London Run takes you through the streets of the capital, passing some of the most iconic landmarks along the way. It’s the fastest way to tour central London as you make your way from Piccadilly to Whitehall with a route that races past Regent Street, Trafalgar Square, the Embankment, Westminster Bridge and Westminster Abbey.
Debbie Pezzani, CEO and Founder, Teens Unite has said: “If you’ve been inspired by the London Marathon to start running and get fit, the British 10k London Run gives you an achievable target to aim for. It’s a great challenge to take on with family, friends and colleagues, whilst raising money for a great cause in the process.”
By embracing the challenge, you will be supporting Teens Unite’s work in bringing 13-24 year olds who have been diagnosed with cancer, together. The charity organises workshops and activities, which enable the young people to meet others their age in a similar situation, rebuild their confidence and self-esteem and learn new and life affirming skills.
If you would like to represent Teens Unite in the British 10k London Run, email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 01992 440091.
The costs to participate are a £35 non-refundable deposit and £100 minimum sponsorship.
