Our new honorary Patron, Hertfordshire Community Services NHS Trust recently joined the Patron and Platinum weekly call 3 weeks ago. Sam Tappenden, Director of Strategy highlighted their biggest challenge is staff morale. This really touch all our members when he explained how difficult it was for the staff and their families during this difficult time. Following this call, “Project Pink Sparkle” was initiated with help from Chasebridge Wealth Management and EasyBuild, with aim to send gifts of thanks to their NHS Trust workers.
Our target is £1,500 and the deadline has now been set to Friday 5th June, unfortunately we are not there yet. We need your help! Please can you help us reach this? Thanks to those that have donated to date. Please support where you can. We are only asking you to either donate between £10 - £100 (details below on how to donate).
This project will provide “thank you gift bags” with gift contents to the value of £20 each to these NHS workers. These gifts will be jointly created by Mary from Pink Gift Store and Claire from Project Sparkle at Park Lane Jewellery. The gift bags will contain things like bath bombs, candles, fancy socks for men and other luxury products from Mary at Pink Gifts and a piece of jewellery from Claire at Project Sparkle.
We want the process for donating to be easy as we know that you are all busy trying to run your businesses during this difficult time. Therefore, both Mary and Claire are happy for you to make direct contact with them if you prefer. (Mary Pink Gift Store 07956 421677 and Claire at Project Sparkle on 07958 534514)
Carol Massay (Platinum member EasyBuild), Maxine Taylor (Patron Chasebridge Wealth Management) and Gemma Rydqvist (Herts Chamber) will ensure all will be delivered to Stephen Hearn, NHS to ensure the gifts are received by the right departments.
As members of the Herts Chambers, this is a great opportunity to help support the NHS in such a great way, and whilst there are so many other great fund raising activities taking place, to have something like this with all local Hertfordshire businesses donating would be absolutely fantastic.
Carol will be ensuring that she gets as much PR for this as possible, and all businesses will be tagged in all social media postings, with all images and write ups shared for each business to post on their website to demonstrate their Corporate Social Responsibility.

They have separate accounts and kindly ask that if your donation is £10 please make a £5 donation to each of the PayPal accounts, quoting HCCPinkSparkle in the reference. It is very important to quote the reference, so they know it is coming from a Herts Chamber member: details below.
