Leading Hertfordshire law firm Longmores has expanded its Harlow-based Commercial Property department with the recent appointment of a new partner, Stephen Stewart.

Stephen brings more than 15 years of commercial property practice experience to Longmores’ commercial property team.

His background includes investment portfolio acquisitions and disposals, development funding and business leases.

Stephen also deals with the property aspects of company sales and purchases, which will complement Longmores’ existing commercial services offering.

Stephen was admitted as a solicitor in 2000 after changing career and studying at Oxford University. He trained and qualified at a City firm specialising in commercial property.

Stephen will work alongside the current Commercial Property team of Liz Gallop, Rachael Spalton and Victoria Sandberg.

Head of Commercial Property, Liz Gallop said: “We are delighted to welcome Stephen, who is already proving to be a valuable addition to both the Commercial Property Team and the wider commercial services team, which has a long tradition of serving the business community in Hertfordshire and beyond”.

Longmores is ranked in both the Chambers UK and Legal 500 directories, and holds the Investors In People Gold standard.
