Thursday night hailed the fifth annual quiz night held by Rayden Solicitors. Over £3,900 was raised for local charity, Herts Young Homeless, by over 100 local and London based professionals attending on the night. Kathryn Salmon from Herts Young Homeless said “'We would like to thank everyone at Raydens Solicitors that helped raise such a fantastic amount for Herts Young Homeless. More and more children and young people are facing homelessness and this money will be used to support local vulnerable youngsters, and their families, and fund vital services for those facing rough sleeping and ongoing conflict in the family home.'
Her comments were echoed by Managing Partner Nadia Biles Davies who said “Our charity of the year is voted for by our staff and so it is always charity that is close to our hearts. We are immensely thankful to our local business community and professional network in London who have supported this event so generously including 2CirclesCommunications and Moneypenny who generously donated to our auction. I am delighted that in the last five years since we have been supporting a charity of the year, we have raised over £20,000.”
Overall winners on the night were Harpenden Building Society who take home the Raydens cup.
