With just over two weeks to go, the countdown is now on for Teens Unite’s annual ‘It’s A Knockout’ event.
Taking place on Sunday 14th June at Wormley Playing fields, the event brings the local community together, whilst raising money for the charity that supports 13-24 year olds fighting cancer and other life limiting illnesses.
The much-anticipated event has become notorious amongst residents, families and businesses in the surrounding area, who will all come together for a day of outdoor fun.
Centred on the hit TV show; ‘It’s A Knockout’, teams will battle against each other on the inflatable assault course, attempting to overcome different challenges and obstacles with a difference along the way.
Aside from spectating at the event, there is fun for all the family, with a selection of games, stalls and activities to enjoy.
Admission into the event is free of charge.
Debbie Pezzani, CEO and Founder, Teens Unite has said “This will be the fourth consecutive year that we have organised our It’s A Knockout event. It’s a fantastic way of bringing those in the local area together.
This year promises to be our largest event yet and companies in the surrounding area including Newsprinters, Breeze and Wyles, Vision, Paradise Wildlife Park, Fishpools and Tesco are all taking part.
Many of the young people we support will be taking part in the It’s A Knockout Challenge and joining in the fun. With just two weeks to go now, we’re all very excited for the day to arrive.”
