Hemel Hempstead based, Igloo Creative has been announced as a finalist in the prestigious Hertfordshire Business Awards 2019 in the ‘Small Business of the Year’ category. These awards recognise and reward business excellence within the county and winners will be announced at Knebworth Estate on Thursday 21st November 2019. Over 450 business personnel will gather to celebrate the best of the best in sixteen categories at the glittering black tie gala awards dinner, hosted by TV personality and comedian Stephen K Amos.
Igloo were encouraged by clients to enter the awards which are in their 23rd year and the judges shortlisted businesses whose growth, ambition and quality of management has enabled them to deliver on a compelling business strategy. Fellow finalists in the Small Business of the Year category include: Redstone Search Group, RecruitAbility, T Nevill & Co Ltd and HOWND (Power Pets Brands Ltd).
Evidence required included: (a) Strategy – evidence of a vision/strategy that included a Business Plan; (b) Business Performance – controlled growth, sustainable and strong performance in the context of the market in which Igloo operates; and, (c) Employment & Training – showing how Igloo staff within the company are given the opportunity to train or be promoted and how they are encouraged to work as a team or be innovative.
