Hertfordshire-based sign company Absolute Signs and Graphics has recently been awarded the prestigious Roll out Programme of the Year 2014 in the face of stiff competition from much larger businesses. The ceremony took place on Thursday 30th October at the British Sign and Graphics Association’s British Sign Awards at Aston Villa Football Club in Birmingham.
The award was in recognition of Absolute Signs and Graphic’s flawless delivery of the signage and graphics for the global re-brand of Worldpay.
Worldpay is Europe's leading card transaction company and plays a major part in international financial transactions: it processes 26 million transactions in over 120 currencies every day.
Absolute Signs and Graphics was tasked with re-branding 17 buildings in 9 countries; all on a single night in February 2014. A wide range of signage and graphics was delivered including high level building signs, internal way-finding signage, logo panels and graphic decals.
"We really appreciate the BSGA’s recognition of our achievement” said Jonathan Burge, Managing Director of Absolute Signs and Graphics. “It was the biggest challenge we have faced so far. The success of the project was down to meticulous planning and working closely with our client Worldpay throughout the process.”
