On Thursday 29th August in the Stable Courtyard at the magnificent, historic Hatfield House, the Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce hosted their annual Summer Party event.
The HCoC used this opportunity to celebrate the summer break with members and non-members alike, and partnered with the Ministry of Defence in order to celebrate with businesses that are signed up to their Covenant. The event sold out within three days, and with almost 100 attendees it provided an excellent opportunity for networking.
Delegates heard a special performance from the Essex Army Cadet Force Corps of Drums, while enjoying delicious canapes and a glass of fizz courtesy of Chamber Member, Wine2Trade.
Special thanks also go out to Martin Gladdish, The Business Ghost, for performing his astounding magic tricks for guests throughout the evening, and to our Patron Heart FM for providing the music.
Briege Leahy, CEO, Herts Chamber, said:
“Thank you so much to the MOD for partnering with us and helping to produce this event, and what a fantastic turnout! The evening was perfect in setting, weather, entertainment, and company. It was great to see so many new faces whom we hope to catch up with again soon.”
Kristina Carrington, Regional Employer Engagement Director, MOD said:
"I’d like to thank Lord Salisbury for allowing us the use of his fantastic property, what a splendid setting to say thank you to our supportive employers."
