Almost 100 businesses attended an export briefing delivered by a European agency this week.

The event, hosted by Herts Chamber of Commerce, drew representatives from the world of business looking to turn their export dreams into a reality.

Trade experts from Enterprise Europe Network presented the knowledge and skills needed to export effectively.

Mathilde Murphy, Enterprise Europe East of England manager said, “at a time of small domestic growth, we hope our advice and information service can help businesses in Hertfordshire decide whether exporting is for them”.

Topics covered on the day included a case study of new EU entrant Croatia, an introduction to exporting, the different stages of exporting, the mechanics, and a final overview of the free help and support on offer from government agencies.
