The outcome of negotiations concerning Brexit is far from certain. In fact, officially at least, there have been no negotiations at all; just posturing. Yet with news reporting every hour and the great and the good (and a few not so good) opining and sometimes even shouting the odds, people would like to understand if and how they may be affected.
Chamber member Chartered Accountancy firm Hillier Hopkins are also members of a national association of firms called UK200Group, who are actively trying to bring clarity for their clients in through the clouds obscuring our understanding of the impact of Brexit. These are murky and uncharted waters, and UK200Group are conducting a series of short surveys through which they can track how the Brexit process is affecting the SME’s of the UK.
Some of it is light-hearted, but there is a serious side too. Please would you help by participating in this survey. It should not take more than about 10 minutes of your time but it will help them greatly to understand how people are thinking.
The results will be published through the UK200Group web site and all participants who leave their email address will receive a link to it. The results will also inform a professional firms’ discussion forum through which they hope to be able to provide you with guidance and accepted wisdom of the professional panel as Brexit marches forward.
Whatever your views on Brexit, they want to hear them.
