At a packed breakfast meeting this morning, 12th July, Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry launched its New Dacorum Chamber Council at the Civic Office in Hemel Hempstead. Dacorum Borough Council Chief Executive, Daniel Zammit, HCCI Chief Executive, Tim Hutchings, and New Dacorum Chamber Council Chairman, John Hope from Ashfield Personnel all spoke about the need to work together in a co-ordinated approach and with one voice for the benefit of businesses in the area. The Dacorum Chamber Council will communicate regularly with members and hold monthly events to discuss issues that are affecting businesses in the borough.

Tim Hutchings, Chamber Chief Executive said: “I was delighted with the response to this inaugural meeting and look forward to working closely with all businesses in the Dacorum area – a wider voice is a stronger voice. We were particularly pleased to receive the support of Daniel Zammit as it is important that public and private sectors work together.”

John Hope, Dacorum Chamber Council Chairman added: “My vision is that the new Dacorum Chamber Council will be inclusive, represent Dacorum and become a unified voice at local, regional and national levels. I will keep everyone informed of our plans and future regular events.
