The event is aiming to continue its growth rate from last year, which saw the regional business expo nearly double in size from the previous year, and brings a wide set of businesses together from Watford, North London, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire to meet the regional business community and find useful contacts, connections, partnerships and opportunities to take their businesses forward.

The 500+ expected visitors to the Expo, business people from small and medium enterprises from the region (some large local businesses will be involved too), are able to network, as well as talk face to face with potential suppliers who are exhibiting, and receive business advice and signposting from business support organisations. Exciting Business Seminars also feature, such as the one delivered by Lyndsay Morgan of Climb Online, a business born from the partnership of Lord Sugar and ex-Apprentice winner Mark Wright.

The energy levels of the attendees, some who’ll stay all day at the event, will be looked after by the free all-day coffee Sponsored by Watford Borough Council, and a free buffet lunch.

James Tribe from Get Connected, the event organiser, commented “This event is a massive networking opportunity, and we’d like to invite business people from the entire region, including North London, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire to come to the event. We’re driven by the knowledge of how useful these events can be to businesses, providing opportunities and connections that can have a profound effect. At one of our events an electrical contractor met a Chartered Surveyor, and the following week the contractor noticed a project in town that was being managed by the surveyor. Within another week he had a £100,000 contract. These are the stories that inspire us!”

The event is kindly supported by Watford Borough Council and Watford & West Herts Chamber of Commerce and other Associates.
