On Tuesday 14th May, Lussmanns Fish & Grill, St Albans will join forces with Rubies in the Rubble to create a collaborative dinner in celebration of National Vegetarian Week (13th – 19th May).

Andrei Lussmann, Founder and MD of Lussmanns is delighted to be hosting this unique vegetarian four-course menu with Rubies in the Rubble founder, Jenny Costa which will highlight such an important issue of food waste.  A Great British Supplier, Rubies in the Rubble was born out of a desire to rescue surplus fruit and vegetables and turn them into ‘Condiments with a Conscience’ whilst Lussmanns has focused on making ethical and sustainable dining accessible to all since 2002.

Chestnut mushroom and Jerusalem artichoke fricassee truffle potato crisps with North African spiced cauliflower, dukkha and Rubies in the Rubble London Piccalilli


Sticky date and banana pudding Toffee Sauce using Rubies in the Rubble Banana Ketchup and country cream ice cream


A selection of British and Irish Cheeses served with Nordic crispbread and a selection of Rubies in the rubble chutneys & pickles


British hand-roasted coffee Fairtrade, organic and 100% Arabica & Tregothnan Cornish tea the first tea grown in England
