It’s always nice to have company when you go for a coffee so if that appeals to you, drop into Hertford Theatre and join the monthly chatter table.
Organised by East Herts Council in partnership with Hertfordshire County Council, it’s a friendly opportunity to spend some time with other people while enjoying a drink and a cake.
Chatter tables are an all-inclusive space for people of all ages. The tables are clearly marked, letting you know that the people sitting there are happy to talk to others.
The chatter tables are from 10am-11.30am on:
- WednesdaySeptember 18
- WednesdayOctober 23
- WednesdayNovember 20 and
- FridayDecember 27.
Look for the chatter table sign in the theatre foyer and pop along. Tea and coffee is free on those dates.
Eric Buckmaster, executive member for wellbeing, said: “Coffee and cake always tastes better in company and our chatter table looks forward to welcoming you.”
People living in Buntingford, Bishop’s Stortford and Ware needn’t feel left out as the council is planning morning chatter tables in those towns too.
