During April cinema-goers will have the option to enjoy a glass of Prosecco, for an additional £3, whilst watching a film on the big screen at the Spotlight.

The Lego Batman Movie (U)Sunday 2 April

This animated action comedy features a Lego Batman who tries to save Gotham City from being taken over by Lego Joker’s group of super-villains. Brought to life with the voices of Will Amett, Jenny Slate and Ralph Fiennes.

Sing (U)Tuesday 4 April

This animated feature sees a group of animals taking part in a singing contest which will get feet tapping, with voiceovers by Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon, Seth MacFarlane and Scarlett Johansson.

Beauty and the Beast (PG)several screenings between Friday 7 April and Tuesday 9 May

This adaptation of the Disney classic tells the love story of a monstrous-looking prince, played by Dan Stevens, and a young woman (Emma Watson).

20th Century Women (15) Tuesday 18 April

This is a story of three women who explore love and freedom in Southern California during the late 1970s. It stars Elle Fanning, Alia Shawkat, Laura Wiggins, Annette Bening, Billy Crudup and Greta Gerwig

Moonlight (15) Wednesday 19 April

This Oscar-winning film is a chronicle of the childhood adolescence and burgeoning adulthood of a young black man growing up in a rough neighbourhood of Miami. Starring Trevante Rhodes, Andre Holland, Janelle Monáe, Ashton Sanders, Jharrel Jerome, Naomi Harris, Mahershala Ali and Alex Hibbert.

Fences (12A) Tuesday 25 April

This tells the story of a working-class African-American father trying to raise his family in the 1950s, while coming to terms with the events of his life. It stars Denzel Washington, Viola Davis, Mykelti Williamson, Russell Hornsby, Saniyya Sidney and Jovan Adepo.

Hacksaw Ridge (15) Wednesday 26 April

This Oscar-Winning film is about a WWII American Army Medic Desmond T. Doss, who served during the Battle of Okinawa and refused to kill people, eventually becoming the first man in American history to receive the Medal of Honor without firing a shot.

Cinema lunches are available before early matinée performances (booking advised) and the bar will be open prior to the late matinée and evening performances.
