The Council is pleased to announce that its Ambition Broxbourne economic development initiative won a 2016 Improvement & Efficiency Award – an award that celebrates public sector excellence.

At a ceremony held on Wednesday 2 March 2016 at Church House, Westminster, the Council won a bronze award in the ‘Working Together’ category.

The Council’s Chief Executive, Jeff Stack, and Director of Community and Economic Development, Greg Macdonald, attended the ceremony and collected the award.

Leader of the Council, Councillor Mark Mills-Bishop was pleased to hear the good news, saying “It is critical that local councils demonstrate strong leadership in these challenging economic times. I am proud that Broxbourne Borough is leading the way in driving innovation and improvement in service delivery whilst ensuring value for money for local people. I believe our innovative way of doing things will win us even more awards in the future. Well done to the Council and its dynamic Economic Development team.”
