Teens Unite Volunteers Evening- 30th July, 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Teens Unite are embracing national Volunteers Week, which runs from 1st – 7th June. Over 23 million individuals volunteer in their local communities across the UK and this week is a time to celebrate their work and show appreciation for their hours of dedication.
Teens Unite, which improves the lives of 13-24 year olds who are fighting cancer and other life limiting illnesses, now has a strong database of over 150 volunteers, who are as committed to supporting these young people as the charity itself.
Debbie Pezzani, CEO and Founder of Teens Unite has said: “We are very fortunate to have so many dedicated volunteers who help us to raise the money and awareness we do.
Local residents, schools and businesses all volunteer with Teens Unite and I would like to say a huge thank you to each and every person who has given a helping hand since I started the charity eight years ago.”
In light of Volunteers Week, Teens Unite has announced a date for their next Volunteer’s Evening, which will be held on 30th July, 6:30-8:30pm, at the Teens Unite Respite Home Broxbourne.
This is an opportunity for Teens Unite to thank their existing volunteers for all of their hard work and for new volunteers to find out more about how they can get involved with the charity. Whether it’s cake baking, running a stall at a community event or helping with DIY at the Respite Home, Teens Unite would like to hear from you.
