For more than 90 years Harkness Screens has been a British and indeed Hertfordshire manufacturing success story providing movie screens made of robust PVC around the world, in fact if you’ve ever been to the cinema, you’ve watched a movie on a Harkness screen.

As well as being a global leader in projection screens of any shape or size for cinema, theatre, live events and conference centres, Harkness has the capability to innovate and provide support to businesses and communities in need of specific products using its base materials.

During the Covid-19 crisis, Harkness has re-purposed its entire manufacturing facility in Stevenage along with its skilled material handling technicians and high-quality heavy-duty PVC to create a new range of products.  From face vizors and single-piece washable aprons to help meet the demands of the medical, social and care home communities and businesses through to partition/barrier screens for offices, public buildings, restaurants and venues to support social distancing measures, Harkness has large scale local manufacturing and product availability to support the local community during this difficult time.
