Follow this link and say no to NIC increases planned for 2011: thousands of businesses signing the internet petiton put together by the UK's leading business groups calling for the 1 percent (please put sign in, can't find on blackberry!) Employer National Insurance Contributions increase - planned for April 2011 - to be scrapped. This NIC increase is a 'tax on jobs' and will discourage companies of all sizes from taking on new staff at a critical point in the UKs recovery.
The case is clear: No NICs increase - no tax on jobs.
