At today’s Small Business Finance Forum, the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) had a frank and honest discussion with the banks and Government.
It was made very clear that the finance issues facing small businesses must be a top priority.
A new panel, on which the BCC will take a seat, will monitor the banks’ lending levels to small firms.
Commenting, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce, David Frost, said:
“This was a productive dialogue which needs to be built on at future meetings. We will be fighting tooth and nail to ensure this monitoring panel has the power to hold the banks to account over their lending and relationship with small firms.”
