Back to Netball is a nationwide scheme run by England Netball that gets females over 16 years back on the court.
Since it started in 2008, over 60,000 women have taken part and realised the benefits of getting involved. From gaining new friendships, losing weight, developing the body’s cardiovascular system and improving muscle tone, returning to sport at any age can be beneficial in so many ways.
Broxbourne Council, in partnership with England Netball, is running an eight-week course to provide women with a gentle reintroduction to the sport.
The sessions are run by passionate and enthusiastic coaches who cover the basics on all aspects of the game.
They will take place on Thursday evenings, from Thursday 25 April, 7-8pm at Goffs Churchgate Academy, Goffs Lane, Cheshunt, EN7 5QW.
The cost is £4 a session. For further information, those interested in joining are asked to contact Lucy Prestedge by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 07834 500189.
