Astley Cooper School are looking at providing a mentoring service for their 6th form students.
The school is hoping to pair the students with mentors working in the career area in which they are interested, be it law, graphic design or music technology so that the mentors would bridge the gap between school and the workplace.
Their aim is that mentors will be able to discuss issues such as qualifications and career paths, working hours, essential skills and training that students need to gain a path into that industry.
If you are interested in becoming a mentor for their students or finding out more about the programme please contact the school directly.
