Leadership Development

Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce is delighted to offer a choice of two courses designed by Leadership Development Ltd (LDL) - providers of modern day sales and leadership skills training.

At the forefront of sales and leadership training for three decades, LDL has developed a reputation for running focused, inspirational programmes that stretch delegates and achieve results.

Two courses are currently available at a discount to Hertfordshire Chamber members, they are: Close that sale and Key account management. Both courses are taking place in Hatfield on Friday 15 July and will be led by experienced LDL trainer and senior consultant Deborah Wain.

You'll find summaries of the course content below.  Each training course described below takes the form of a half-day session and the price is £75 + VAT each delegate for Chamber members. The price for non-members is £90 + VAT each delegate. There is no series discount for booking more than one course.

The Close that sale course is running on Friday 15 July, from 9am to 12 noon, in Hatfield.

Key account management

This course covers the modern day strategies required to make major sales to major customers. Rapid developement in technology, together with pressure on costs and the rise of procurement is changing the way buyers buy. This programme is designed, not only to reinforce best practice, but to highlight where skills must change to maintain that competitive edge.

Delegates will learn

  • How buying has changed and how sellers need to adapt
  • How to unravel the account's organisational structure and 'politics'
  • How to design a modern day account developement strategy
  • Recognising the right business to target
  • How to network; and the importance of LinkedIn

The Key Account Management course is running on Friday 15 July, from 1pm to 4pm, in Hatfield.
