The next in a series of Webinar Events that the Herts Chamber have organised in these challenging times in order to continue supporting our members and non-members, and to provide vital information that businesses may need.
Join us on 25th November with our Patron, Longmores Solicitors, as we discuss how business owners may be facing difficult decisions about how to keep going during the pandemic and beyond. A period of tough trading does not have to be the end of the road and there are always options to consider for turnaround and even growth.
Turnaround: Nat Young will discuss different ways to turn businesses around, whether they are solvent or insolvent, outlining what is involved and looking at what can work in different situations.
Growth: Getting investment from a third party to grow your business is another option in good times as well as bad. Michael Budd will discuss receiving investment in a company, what investors will expect from their investment, how investment transactions are structured, what to look out for and what to avoid.
Valuation: Valuations are required for many reasons. Paul Barwick, a Partner at Azets, joins the team to discuss the increase he has seen in the request for valuations to be undertaken, likely to be as a result of the impact of COVID-19. Paul will discuss some of these reasons, in addition to walking through some high-level valuation techniques.
After the presentation there will be a Q&A for all delegates. We encourage everybody to ask questions, however big or small they may seem. You can ask a question on the day or, submit a question in advance when booking your place.
