Accessing and Managing Cash; plus Alternative Options - Webinar

The next in a series of Webinar Events that the Herts Chamber have organised in these challenging times in order to continue supporting our members and non-members, and to provide vital information that businesses may need.

Join us on 12th June with Tony Ryan, Regional Director at Branduin Business Support; Dominic Dumville, Corporate Restructuring Partner at Mercer & Hole; and Sam Mathur, Local Director at MetroBank St Albans for a webinar on all things financial.

Tony will be discussing 'Getting you Fit for Funding' covering:

  • What are the options available to your business right now – including Government CBILS, Bounce Back Loans and Local Authority Discretionary Grant schemes
  • What will funding look like going forward and who will banks prefer to work with?

Dominic will focus on how to look after your Hibernated Business, including:

  • How to control cashflow while your business is hibernated
  • How to slow accruing liabilities and the importance of forecasting cash requirement of your business during the imminent recovery period
  • An overview of Company Voluntary Arrangements (CVA) and Administration and how their rescue-focused characteristics may prove to be vital in unlocking the rescue of many businesses over the coming months

Tony Ryan is a Director of Branduin Business Support and has over 18 years’ experience working with SMEs and Start-Ups. He specialises in providing funding, support and advice for new and growing businesses. He gets SMEs "Fit for Funding and Growth", handholding them through the funding application process, overcoming barriers to growth and setting them on the fast track to high performance. He has quickly become an expert on the rapidly changing portfolio of government business support initiatives. 
 
Dominic Dumville joined Mercer & Hole as a partner in 2020. Prior to this, he was an insolvency partner at Haslers, who he joined whilst training from GLS. After qualifying as an accountant, Dominic moved into corporate finance before taking a management role in insolvency investigations. He completed the Joint Insolvency Examination Board (JIEB) exams and became a licensed insolvency practitioner in 2015. 
 
Sam Mathur is a Local Director for Metro Bank, with over 16 years experience in relationship & portfolio management. He was previously an Associate Drector at Coutts and prior to that was Senior Private Banking Manager for NatWest. Sam gained a degree from Brunel University in Accounting & Finance, followed by an MBA in Finance, International Marketing and Project Management.
