This webinar provides a step-by-step guide on how to deal with Documentary Letters of Credit – from receipt of order to successful presentation.
Delegates will be involved in a practical exercise, examining and correcting Documents before the paying bank. On completion of the course, all delegates receive a certificate of attendance and a free helpline number they may contact for advice regarding future Letters of Credit.
The course tutor, Alan Bracken, has over 30 years practical experience working with Letters of Credit.
This course covers the following topics:
Requesting a workable Letter of Credit
Selecting the correct Letter of Credit
Preparing Bills of Exchange (Draft)
Examination of supporting documentation
Cost of trading under a Letter of Credit
Examining and understanding the role of the UCP 600 in the Letter of Credit transaction and its impact upon documents to be presented for payment
Examination of a Letter of Credit in conjunction with UCP 600
The event also includes a certificate of attendance, all written materials, plus a follow-up helpline to the lecturer.
