IR35 tips for businesses that hire contractors and freelancers - the Rules are changing in April 2020 AND “Good Work Plan” changes to Employment Law from April 2020. Be informed about the key changes and how they will impact all employers.
Janet De-Havilland, CEO of Ware based Pendragon Consultancy, specialists in contractor employment, employment status and IR35 will be hosting our breakfast seminar on February 11th at Aubrey Park Hotel.
For a topic that is normally considered to be somewhat dry, you really should come along to learn about the “off-payroll” legislation and get some helpful tips on how to avoid falling foul of the updated regulations, and how to protect your business when hiring contractors or freelancers. From April it will be necessary for you review your relationship with them to make sure they are not inside IR35 (and considered to be employees). Private sector businesses classed as medium and large will become responsible for determining if a worker is a contractor or an employee for tax purposes.
Join us at this breakfast seminar to hear more about the changes and how to be prepared.
