Women in Leadership Conference

Keynote Speakers:

We are delighted to announce Sarah Howard MBE, Chair of the British Chambers of Commerce, will be delivering one of the Conference keynote speeches.

Sarah will share details of BCC’s People Campaign, discuss the role business can play in fixing inequalities in the workplace and talk of her own experiences from her career in industry.

Sarah was President of Suffolk Chamber for three years before being elected first female Chair, BCC, in 2019. She started her career as a management consultant at KPMG moving to JP Morgan before setting up her own company, Sarand Business Software, with her partner in 1994.

Additional Speakers:

The programme will focus on the experiences and challenges women have faced on their way up the career ladder, beginning with a presentation from Janet Hayes, Executive Coach, Necton Consulting, titled 'Can you have it all? Women's Transition to Leadership'. A summary of findings from her 2019 research for an MSc in Coaching & Behavioural Change at Henley Business School. 

Followed by a panel of senior businesswomen who will discuss the question: 'Can we have it all?' including:

  • Sarah Moreland MBE, Executive Director, Hertfordshire Agricultural Society

  • Sharon Taylor OBE, Leader, Stevenage Borough Council
