**SOLD OUT** March Chamber Lunch


Join us on 21 March 2019 for our monthly networking lunch, being held at Luton Hoo Hotel. These events provide a great opportunity for business networking with members and non-members alike. Each month we invite a guest speaker to inform and motivate you.

We are delighted to announce that this lunch is brought to you in collaboration with the Hertfordshire LEP and Salus Approved Inspectors. Our guest speaker will be Ruari Maybank, Construction Director, London Luton Airport Operations Ltd, responsible for delivering the works which will increase capacity from 10 to 18 million passengers per year, and transform the passenger experience. 

We will also have short presentations from Graham Mills, Regional Managing Associate, Salus AI and Adam Wood, Head of Infrastructure, Hertfordshire LEP.

Ruari Maybank is recognised as an expert in large, complex projects and regularly gives lectures to professional institutions and universities.  He has a track record of successfully leading high profile projects such as the Millennium Dome, London 2012 Olympic Games, a number of major Defence accommodation projects. Ruari spent four years in the Middle East, during which he established a government department in Qatar to plan the construction of over £10 bn of transport infrastructure.  

Graham Mills is Regional Managing Associate at Salus Approved Inspectors; with over thirty five years’ experience in the Building Regulations for all types of building design and usage including residential – domestic and hotels, commercial, leisure, retail (including covered shopping malls), large warehouse and storage, hospitals and care homes, schools, sports grounds and stadia, listed buildings and mixed-use developments. Graham's second role within Salus is Business Development; with many years in the industry client relation management, which is a key driver to the success of any company and using his knowledge he assists with business development, marketing and promotion of the company. 

Adam Wood is responsible for managing the Hertfordshire LEP’s Growing Places Fund and the Single Local Growth Fund relating to delivery of infrastructure, regeneration and housing projects across the county. Adam also encourages effective joint working between the LEP, Hertfordshire County Council, District and Borough Councils, the Local Transport Board and Hertfordshire Infrastructure and Planning Partnership to deliver an exciting and challenging growth programme.
