Young Chamber

Young Chamber can help schools and employers throughout Hertfordshire to Connect, Collaborate and Grow.

What is Young Chamber?

Young Chamber aims to bridge the gap between the business and education sectors and help students gain an insight into the world of work providing them with the chance to learn about different career choices available within Hertfordshire. Plus, Young Chamber can help schools and colleges meet Ofsted (or relevant school inspectorate) requirements around the provision of careers advice, preparation of pupils for employment and engagement with employers.

The School Business Partnership Project

A recent study carried out by the British Chambers of Commerce demonstrates the value of effective partnerships between local businesses and schools and how they can broaden the students' aspirations and develop employability skills via work experience, local mentors and extra-curricular activities. You can download a copy of the report here.
