On Wednesday 28 November The UH School of Humanities is holding a Careers Conference for its students and are looking for a BME speaker who is a graduate, preferably in a Humanities subject (languages, literature, journalism, mass media, history, philosophy or similar) and who has reached a position of leadership or achieved success in their chosen field and who can inspire and encourage the students to succeed during and after their studies

Humanities and Arts subjects don’t offer an obvious career path so it’s essential to present the range of options early on to students to encourage them to career-plan.

The event will run from 1.00 – 3.00 p.m. with lunch at 12.30 on the de Havilland campus, Hatfield.

You will be making two presentations, one to 1st and 2nd Year students and the other to 3rd Year students. Lunch will be provided and we will pay travel expenses to participants.  For further information please contact Rubina Menghrani on 01707 285887 or email r.menghrani@herts.ac.uk
