Access to a comprehensive network of cities all over the world is a key element of the UK's economic prosperity. Aviation is vital to this connectivity and the manner in which aviation services can further economic prosperity is under examination. There are seven, free, half-day events taking place at venues across England. The schedule of meetings is detailed below; please attend whichever is most convenient for you.

All workshops will be welcoming guests at 10am for registration and refreshments. The workshops will be in session until 1pm when a buffet lunch will be served.
Each event will discuss:
•The context of the Airports Commission, which is chaired by Sir Howard Davies
•The forecast growth in demand for aviation capacity and application of the forecasts
•Local Authorities' responsibilities in providing travel and employment opportunities together with reducing local burdens
•The Mayor of London's proposals for a new hub airport to the east of the Capital, setting out the potential benefits of additional aviation capacity
•Implications of connectivity within the south east for the rest of the UK.
