The Stevenage Community Safety Partnership (SCSP) is looking for potential sponsors for its new website.

The partnership consists of member organisations, including Hertfordshire Police, Hertfordshire Fire & Rescue Service and Stevenage Borough Council, who work together to try to make Stevenage a safer place, both  to live and to do business.

At present, the SCSP has an entry on the Stevenage Borough Council (SBC) web site, under the broader umbrella of community safety.  It now has plans to have an enhanced presence on the site where it can display a host of information about the partnership and have links to various member agencies. Crime prevention advice and contact details for local Police and Police Community Support Officers will also be available.

The cost of setting this up has been put at £1,500 and the Partnership is looking for a local company prepared to help to fully or partly fund this initiative.

The website – www.stevenage.gov.uk – gets an average 22,000 unique visitors per month. Any company giving support will have their company name mentioned on the bottom of the SCSP’s main page, next to the text ‘working towards a safer Stevenage.’

If you have any questions, wish to become a supporter in this venture or simply need further and better details, please call 01438-242077, or e-mail michael.child@stevenage.gov.uk.
