Leading regional law firm, Pictons Solicitors LLP, currently celebrating its 40th birthday, has promoted two partners and appointed three new solicitors.
Partners Fiona Mills, head of the firm’s renowned Clinical Negligence department, and Nigel Drake, who leads the successful Residential Conveyancing department, were both promoted to full equity membership of the firm. This recognises their achievement in developing their groups into market leaders in the region.
Meanwhile, Pictons has appointed three solicitors. Avtar Deu has joined (from W. Davies where he was a partner and head of department) to head up the Wills, Trusts and Probate team in Hemel Hempstead. In Luton, Harshinder Hundal, who was previously with Denton Wilde Sapte in Milton Keynes, joins the expanding Commercial Property team, and David Hughes, formerly with Sherrards in St Albans, strengthens the Corporate team.
Pictons’ chairman, Roger Talbot, commented: "It is always good to reward achievement, so I am delighted to be able to welcome Fiona and Nigel to full equity membership. We are also delighted to have attracted three such high calibre lawyers to Pictons. Together, these developments tell a clear story about confidence in our prospects for growth and success."
