Emily Watson of Rayden Solicitors has been promoted to Partner as the firm continues its impressive growth.

An experienced family solicitor, Emily becomes the firm’s fifth partner, joining Katherine Rayden, Julian Bremner, Nadia Biles Davies and Paula Butterworth, as the firm announces the opening of new offices in Berkhamsted after setting up a presence in Guildford earlier this year.

Emily said:“I am very pleased and proud to be joining the partnership at Raydens, particularly with the additional challenge of jointly setting up and running our new office in Berkhamsted. This is a very exciting time both for me personally and for the firm as a whole.”

Emily is named in legal heavyweight publication the Legal 500, which describes her as “getting to the core of a problem quickly”.  Emily graduated from Cambridge University before qualifying as a solicitor in 2002. Since then, she has practised family law exclusively. Emily will head up the new Berkhamsted office and team with fellow partner Paula Butterworth.

Katherine Rayden said:“I am thrilled to see the firm continue to go from strength to strength and to welcome Emily as a new Partner.   Emily has proven herself not only to be an excellent solicitor in all areas of family law but also a mentor for the family team here at Raydens. As a specialist firm, we continue to put our clients at the heart of our firm and look forward to supporting new clients in our new offices. Opening our Berkhamsted office in June heralds a new phase of growth for us and a very exciting opportunity.”

Priya Palanivel has also been promoted to Senior Associate. Priya joined Raydens last year from city practice, Goodman Ray.

The multiple award winning Rayden Solicitors has grown to be the largest specialist family law firm in Hertfordshire.  The firm recently opened a satellite office in Guildford.
