Commenting ahead of the Prime Minister’s final EU Summit tomorrow David Frost, Director General of the British Chambers of Commerce, said:

`"Labour market flexibility was hard won and has ensured that the UK is recognised the World over as a place to do business. If the Charter of Fundamental Rights is given legal force there is a serious danger that UK labour laws will be undermined, especially with reference to the right to strike.

"The Prime Minister must not allow his final European Summit to be remembered as one where Britain’s competitiveness was signed away."
