Michael McGrath, Chief Executive of The Muscle Help Foundation will be carrying the flame as a symbol of hope, strength and joy for the charity's Muscle Dream beneficiaries (past, present & future) & their families.
Michael plans to wheel the 130 metres in the upright/standing position... with flame outstretched!

In January 2004, Michael McGrath made history by becoming the first and only person in the world with Muscular Dystrophy to reach the North and South Pole.The pole2pole project was the launch pad for the Muscle Help Foundation, which was established by Michael and his exploration partner Miles Peckham shortly after their extraordinary journey.
