Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry have signed up to support a student of excellence studying at the University of Hertfordshire.

The scholarship will fund a full time student studying on the BSc Management Sciences degree course. With a value of £1,000 a year, the first scholarship will be awarded for 2006 entry.

It will be awarded annually to the student with the best academic performance at point of entry onto the Management Sciences degree course at the University of Hertfordshire.

Joanne Wearne, Development & Alumni Officer at the University said: “The University of Hertfordshire is delighted that Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce & Industry is supporting our scholarship activity. We are thankful to them for showing a strong commitment to the area and giving something back to the community by investing in the education of our future generation.”
