A one-day course that provides a step-by-step guide on how to deal with Documentary Letters of Credit – from receipt of order to successful presentation. Specific focus on a real case history of a Letter of Credit gives delegates the opportunity to increase their awareness and skills of the requirements involved with using letters of credit.

A one-day course that is designed to help businesses handle their imports more efficiently, and with the minimum financial expense.

About the Lecturer:Alan Bracken of ABTS Training Service has been involved in International Trade Training for The Hertfordshire Chamber of Commerce for over 25 years. He is a registered logistics consultant with the United Nations, and delivers courses worldwide on their behalf. He also lectures at the London Institute of Shipping and Transport (LIST) and is a trainer/consultant for The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.  Alan has worked on both sides of the desk, as an export/import manager for many leading UK trading companies, and as a Director of his own freight Forwarding Company. He is co-author of Export Marketing.
