Top-20 accountancy firm, Wilkins Kennedy’s Hertford office were delighted to take part in the successful Craft Market and Open Day at Hertford Castle on Sunday 8th May which was the finale event of their month long sponsorship of the Hertford Arts Festival, both organised by Hertford Town Council.

Staff from Wilkins Kennedy Hertford, which is based on Ware Road, had a stall at the Craft Market where visitors could have access to expert knowledge and advice in relation to accounting matters, as well as a colouring competition for the kids and a “guess the number of jellybeans in the jar”.

The winners of the colouring competition were Emily Bortolato (age 5) from Hertford and Oliver Simons (age 10) from Bishop Stortford.  The lucky jelly bean guess was from Freya Denison (age 6) who guessed the correct amount of 4,200 beans!

Tim Croft, Managing Partner for Wilkins Kennedy’s Hertford office, said: “This year we decided to sponsor the entire Arts Festival which ran for a month from 8th April to 8th May 2016 and included a variety of exhibitions and activities from an arts trail to Shakespearean heritage walks. It has been a great opportunity for us to get involved with the local community and is very much at the heart of what we do as a firm. My congratulations go to the winners of our competitions!”

Chairman of the Development and Leisure Committee at Hertford Town Council, Cllr Jane Sartin, said: “The success of the Castle Open Day and Craft Fair made for a great start to Hertford Town Council's season of events at Hertford Castle.  It was good to have Wilkins Kennedy's involvement, not only as sponsors but as active participants in the event, with their stall and colouring competition proving very popular with visitors.”
