In preparation for Teens Unite’s overseas cycle to Sri Lanka this October, the charity will be holding an information evening on Wednesday 16th March where local residents can find out more about this once in a lifetime trip.

The evening will take place at Your Town, Fawkon Walk, Hoddesdon from 6pm - 8pm. The organisers of the trip will be holding a presentation on the expedition and answering any questions over drinks and nibbles. For those curious to find out more about what the cycle involves, this is the perfect opportunity to get all of the details they need.

The cycle itself will take place on 1st - 9th October, where the team will be travelling an incredible distance of 350km across the South West of the beautiful island, which is renowned for its rich, untouched culture, colonial heritage and lush landscape.

After arriving in the capital of Colombo, the team will then venture through misty highlands and tea plantations, dense jungles and national parks until reaching our final destination; the Maha Oya Elephant sanctuary, all to raise as much funding and awareness as we can for Teens Unite.

Heading up the team in Sri Lanka will be Teens Unite’s CEO and Founder, Debbie Pezzani; “This will be the third overseas cycle I have completed in aid of Teens Unite and I can’t wait. It really is such a rewarding experience that you never forget. I would encourage anyone who is interested in taking part in our challenge in Sri Lanka to come along on 16th March and find out more.”
