There are only two weeks to go until public donations open for Watford Palace Theatre’s Big Arts Give Challenge.

The Palace is aiming to raise £20,000 to go towards renovating its historic facade as part of this nationwide initiative, which allows arts organisations to compete for funding support from national advocacy board Arts & Business.

Having achieved its business donation target of £5,000 on 5 November, the Palace must now raise £10,000 through donations from members of the public. Throughout the week of 6th December members of the public can go online to donate whatever they can to this worthy cause.

Watford Palace Theatre’s Development Manager, Lynne Misner says:

‘This is an incredibly exciting project to be a part of.  We are confident hope that with the help of everyone who knows and loves the Theatre, together we can restore the facade to its former glory.  We just need as many people as possible to go online during the week of 6th December and donate whatever they can. Don’t forget to spread the word too.’

All donations must be made online during the week of 6th December and it’s really easy to do by visiting: http://www.thebiggive.org.uk/donate/watfordpalacetheatre

If the theatre achieves £10,000 of public donations during the week of 6th December, Arts and Business will donate £5,000 to the facade renovation.
